PayMaya



PayMaya is trademark of the newest reloadable prepaid card which is currently available in the Philippines. It's mainly an app that you can download to your smartphone or you can actually have an actual physical reloadable card like that of the photo.

You can use the app or the actual card to purchase online thru any online merchant stores whenever VISA is available. In the app itself has an assigned DIGITAL or VIRTUAL VISA CARD like of the GCASH AMEX wherein you would have a card number and expiration date and also a CVV/CVV2 only difference of the two is that of with PayMaya app the CVV/CCV2 is available already in the app while for GCASH AMEX you do have to request it everytime you do online transaction. If ever you would like to request of an actual paymaya reloadable card you can actually request one at their website you have to pay for the processing fee ( fees will vary depending on the card that you choose ) and best thing is shipping cost is free. Delivery for within Metro Manila is 3-5 business days while outside Metro Manila and provinces may take up to 7-10 business days. I got mine less than 10 days it was delivered by Xend ( Air21 ). The card that I choose was the Paymaya with Beep wherein you can use this on Train station using the embedded BEEP technology in the card as long as you have credits with your card in BEEP then you don't have problems in getting in Passes for Train Stations just tap your card and your ready to go.

If you want to send and receive money from your PayMaya Account to another and vise versa you must first UPGRADE your account, upgrading the account is free. All you have to do is undergo the KYC ( Know Your Customer ) Process,
KYC or "Know Your Customer" is a process required by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas to validate the identity of a customer availing of a financial transaction. It's a one-time face-to-face requirement that entails the said customer to present one VALID ID to an authorized KYC outlet. KYC outlets were mostly smart stores but you can also do KYC thru there PayMaya FB Messenger account all you have to do
is message them but first you must first make an UPGRADE request in your paymaya app, prefer the REFERRENCE NUMBER and your valid ID, once confirmed they will call you thru facebook messenger ( video chat ) and then you will be advised to present your valid id. After they validated your valid ID your account will then be upgraded and then you can now start sending money and receiving money in your paymaya. And by the way the ID that I presented was a DL ( Driverse License ).
